These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the legal agreement between you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) and Sixième (“Sixième,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) for the purchase and participation in our watersports clinics, experiences, and related services. By booking with Sixième, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Legal entity
Sixième is a trading name of CATLYNG LIMITED, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 16555858. In these Terms, “Sixième,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CATLYNG LIMITED trading as Sixième. By booking or participating in any of our clinics, coaching sessions, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Booking & Payments
2.1 Booking Confirmation – A booking is confirmed only once the required deposit or full payment has been received and a booking confirmation email has been issued by Sixième.
2.2 Payment Schedule – Payment terms will be outlined in your booking confirmation. In most cases, a refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due 6-8 weeks before departure.
2.3 Late Payments – Failure to make payments by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.
3. Pricing

3.1 All prices are listed in GBR and are subject to change prior to booking confirmation.
3.2 Once a booking is confirmed, your price will not change except in the case of: -
Significant changes to exchange rates affecting supplier costs;

Imposed taxes, fees, or levies from suppliers or governments.
3.3 Any such adjustments will be communicated in writing.
4. Cancellations by Client

4.1 Notification – All cancellations must be made in writing via email to concierge@sixiemetravel.com.
4.2 Cancellation Charges – -
More than 90 days before start date: Loss of deposit only.

90–60 days before: 50% of total booking value.

Less than 60 days before: 100% of total booking value.
4.3 We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
5. Cancellations & Alterations by Sixième

5.1 Minimum Participation – We reserve the right to cancel an event if minimum participation numbers are not met. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date.
5.2 Force Majeure – Sixième will not be liable for cancellations or changes due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or transport disruptions.
5.3 Where possible, we will offer rescheduling or credit towards a future booking.
6. Participant Responsibilities

6.1 Eligibility – You must meet the minimum skill, fitness, and safety requirements specified for each clinic.
6.2 Conduct – You agree to conduct yourself respectfully towards other participants, staff, and third-party providers.
6.3 Compliance – All safety instructions from Sixième staff must be followed at all times.
6.4 Health Disclosure – You must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or medications that could affect your participation.
7. Insurance Requirments

7.1 All participants are required to have valid travel insurance covering:

Medical emergencies and evacuation;

Watersports activities;
-
Trip cancellation and interruption;

Personal property and equipment.
7.2 Proof of insurance may be requested prior to participation.
8. Equipment Use

8.1 Equipment provided by Sixième must be used responsibly and returned in the same condition as received.
8.2 Any damage caused through negligence or misuse will be the responsibility of the participant, and repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
9. Liability & Acknowledgment of Risk

9.1 Participation in watersports carries inherent risks. By booking, you acknowledge that you:

Understand the risks involved;

Are physically and mentally fit to participate;

Accept personal responsibility for your safety.
9.2 WatersportsLab is not liable for injury, loss, or damage except where caused directly by our proven negligence.
10. Accommodation & Third-Party Services

10.1 Accommodation and ancillary services arranged by Sixième may be provided by independent third parties.
10.2 Sixième is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or service quality of third-party providers.
11. Intellectual Property

11.1 All branding, imagery, course materials, and content provided during your experience remain the property of Sixième.
11.2 No content may be reproduced or distributed without prior consent.
12. Photography & Media Release

12.1 By participating, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing prior to the event.
12.2 Sixième retains full usage rights for marketing, social media, and advertising.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
13.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
